The House of Lunduke BBS is a little shrine to the glory that is BBSing.
Specifically: Games. Wonderful, awesome, glorious BBS games.
When you log in to the House of Lunduke you will not find a vast expanse of files to download. There are plenty of great websites dedicated to just such a need. In fact, the only message forums you will find are dedicated to the games being played at House of Lunduke.
Games like TradeWars 2002 and Legend of the Red Dragon (and LORD 2, The Pit and Exitilus). The classics.
You can access the House of Lunduke directly from this website using the Flash terminal.
Or you can access the BBS using any Telnet program (I suggest SyncTerm, my favorite telnet client for properly enjoying the BBS experience) at bbs.lunduke.com.
A few details on what the House of Lunduke is running:
- Hardware = Eee PC 900 (That's right, a multi-line BBS server running on one of the first Eee Netbooks).
- Software = Virtual Advanced BBS (A classic from "Back in the day").
- Number of Nodes = 20 (20 people online at once... all logged in to one Eee).
Never used a BBS before? Take a few minutes and read up on what they're all about.

I was able to use rxvt which was in the Fedora repo. Followed this blog post which helped in getting the necessary fonts set up for ansi-bbsing: http://techtinkering.com/articles/?id=33
