Live this Sunday!
Just a quick note that we will be live streaming (in all our audio/video glory) this Sunday starting at noon (Pacific Time).
Here’s the quick schedule:
12pm - Coding with Bryan
I’ll be taking your live calls (via Skype). The topic for this episode: Developing multi-media heavy applications (for all platforms available) - including video playback and editing. Of course, I’ll take any other question you have as well!
1pm - The Computer Action Show
Lots of stuff in store for this episode of the big show! Windows 7 is out this week. Just MAYBE we talk about?
3:30pm - STOked
Star Trek Online news and discussion!
All of this crazy goodness will be going down over at JupiterBroadcasting.com/live.
You can, of course, find the Jupiter Broadcasting schedule here.

Windows 7? by then thats old. You rather should focus on the upcoming Ubuntu 9.10 release on the 29th of october! Where will the Ubuntu installation party’s (#UIP) be? Would be cool if the community would help launching Ubuntu as well as the windows community does with windows 7
There’s a Windows community…?
Hey, I can’t be there (for Coding with Bryan) because, once again, you’re doing while I’m gone. Could I call in and leave a voicemail, which you could deal with if you get a lull in your callers (as you seem to have at the beginning of the show)? Thank you.
Absolutely. My Skype Id is “bryanlunduke”. Feel free to leave a voicemail there before Sunday and I’ll take a listen!
Well, I’ve tried everything, and I still can’t seem to let skype send you a voicemail (at the moment, it looks like you would have needed to have bought a voicemail subscription for it to work). Next time, could you put one of those nifty google voice call us icons on the blog? I think that would work better. (or, if it’s still not too late, is there any other way I can ask my question?).
Leif: Sure, head over to http://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/?page_id=8 and you can use the google voice link to leave a voice mail as well.
I have experience with Windows XP and Windows Vista, I also have been using Ubuntu for 2 years. I also have a 13″ Macbook running 10.5.8 I am a computer geek, and I have to say, Ubuntu is pretty solid. Windows is more well established than Mac OS, or Ubuntu, which is a major advantage. This is my personal rating for the OS’s I mentioned above
1.) Mac OS X 10.5.8
2.) Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala
3.) Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope
4.) Windows XP Home Edition
5.) Windows Vista Home Basic
I am not anti Windows. Windows is a solid OS, Windows Vista Home Basic was a complete flop though.
