radicalcomicliteHere we go!  RadicalComic 1.0 Beta 1 is out.  And, of course, it is only for Linux.

You can head over and download it here.

I’ll be posting a lot more information (about what is in this release, what my plans are for after beta, info on publishers that release digital comics, etc.) between now and Monday.  So keep an eye on this blog for info as it rolls out.

At the moment the only package available is a .deb tailored for Ubuntu (though it should work fine on any Debian-based distro).  OpenSuse and Fedora packages will follow shortly.  As will repo’s to make it easy to stay up to date.

The beta releases are not crippled in any way.  So you can feel free to use it without paying a dime.  It won’t expire or anything like that.  Once RadicalComic is out of beta there will be some restrictions in place that you’ll need to purchase to remove.

During beta the price is $15.  After beta the price will be $25.

You can purchase your copy at the Radical Breeze store.

Being as this is a beta… there will likely be some hiccups.  So feel free to send any bug reports to me at webmaster@radicalbreeze.com.
