Radical Comic Designer for both Linux and Windows has been updated to version 1.2.
If you haven’t heard of Radical Comic Designer yet, this should cover it. In a nutshell: it allows you to easily create comic strips and comic books. Even if you don’t have any artistic skills.
What’s new in version 1.2?
- A new style of speech bubble: The Oval.
- Added right click menus that allow you to insert pictures into panels and delete items from your comic.
- Page settings (page size and color) have been moved to an (optional) toolbar window.
- Creating a new page now properly respects the properties (size, etc) of the last page added.
- Various bug fixes and rendering improvements.
You can grab the Windows version here and the Linux version here.
You can purchase a license in the Radical Breeze online store for $19.95.
You can also buy Radical Comic Designer and RadicalCodex (eBook and eComic reader) in a bundle together for $29.00.
What’s next for Radical Comic Designer, you ask?
There are a bunch of small things on the to-do list, but two stand out for me: drop shadows (optional of course) and additional bubble tail types (curls, triangles, etc.).
Of course I’d love to hear your feedback! If there is a specific feature you’re looking for, drop me a line (or just leave a comment on this post).
