RadicalCodex is now available with custom packages for Fedora 10 and OpenSuse 11.1. Additional packages for earlier versions of both Fedora and OpenSuse will follow shortly (as will additional Ubuntu packages).
So, for those of you on Fedora and Suse, who have been waiting for the best freaking eBook and Comic Book manager/reader/syncer on the planet… wait no longer.
This is thanks, in very large part, to an almost ridiculously cool dude named Jason… who I will tell you all about in short order.

Hey Bryan, I’m trying out RadicalCodex right now.
Some feedback:
Can you set a timeout on the refresh of the collection-view when you search for a comic?
For each character I write/erase it reloads the view, and it’s kind of annoying.
Also I don’t get any tooltips when hovering the buttons when reading a comic, is this true for everyone, or is it because I use gtk-qt for gtk rendering?
And, when I selected a comic book, and clicked the “Book info” button, somehow it replaced the actual name of the comic book with “Book title” or something like that.
Otherwise it looks sweet and works great. Thanks for the OpenSUSE package.
You can contact me through twitter if you want more info or want me to debug.

Oh, and importing a folder of comics totally freezes the app and causes it to consum 50-90% CPU.

[...] I rolled out the first set of Fedora and OpenSuse packages for RadicalCodex. And doing so was incredibly easy. It was, literally, a 3 minute process. [...]
