Very minor RadicalCodex update this morning. This is almost entirely a bug fix release for Beta 3 addressing two bugs that were found after yesterdays release was out (as well as adding an informational window that appears the first time it is launched).
As always, you can grab it here (and, cough, buy it here).

OK, just a couple of tiny things that are making me like using Comix better than RC right now.
1. Your fullscreen isn’t fullscreen of comic, it still has the bar there.
2. It doesn’t seem to navigate around the page. Only from one page to the next.
3. You can’t rotate the page.
4. You can’t set the controls
You see I love to read comics on my eeePC. Fullscreen and rotated 90 degrees. Then I can hold the computer endways, like a book and press the touchpad to turn the page. It’s one of the best uses for netbooks (Especially the eeePC, where the proportions of the screen are just right.)
The comic organising aspect of RC are better than Comix but the reading side of Comix just has the edge. (just for now, hopefully)

After using RC, I went and looked for the source. I wanted to add .epub, .rtf formats and such to it. Oh wait. It’s closed source. Nevermind. I’ll stick with Comix, Calibre and fbreader.

Bobby R. Ward:
Two things:
1) The whole point here is that RadicalCodex is closed source. And your sarcastic tone is great, but it comes across as somewhat odd being as your post obviously does not address the reasons/ideas/etc. If you want to have a serious discussion on the topic, that’s great. First read up on what I’m trying to do (and listen to the relevant shows) then head over to jupiterbroadcasting.com/forum and start up a thread and I’ll join in.
2) If RadicalCodex was open source… are you saying that you, personally, would have checked out a branch and begun work on those specific formats already? And that you have the skills and experience to back that up? As well as the time? And that you would have been willing to commit to producing quality checkins that would be in line with the project goals and code requirements? Can you honestly say you would have already done that?

Yes, I can. I read a lot of ebooks and a lot of cbrs. A good reader for both is something I really want.

Bryan,
As far as bugs, feature requests and so on, is this the place for that, or do you have something else set up for that. I have looked and was unable to find it.
To that end, let me say that the only “bug” I have found in the software during the limited time I have played with it, is the welcome comic book still has the name radicalcomic in it. Just a minor thing, but one that might have been overlooked.
