It’s risky to post links to your social networks on your website, especially if you’re looking for a job.

Hi Eli,
Why might that be? I’m a pretty public person as is (multiple shows, videos, forums, this blog, etc).
In fact, when I’ve hired developers to work on my teams, I’ve always much preferred when they have blogs and social networking readily available.
